Vicky Kaushal recalls shooting DRUNK scene with Shah Rukh Khan in Dunki; says, “Itna naseeb toh sir ki heroine ko nahi milta”

Vicky Kaushal collaborated with Shah Rukh Khan in 2023 release Dunki. The film directed by Rajkumar Hirani had Vicky in a brief stint but he won hearts. He is currently gearing up for Laxman Utekar’s historical drama Chhaava where he will play Sambhaji Maharaj’s role. Ahead of release, Vicky recalls fond memory with Shah Rukh Khan and claims why he is luckier than heroines he has worked with.

In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, Vicky Kaushal was shown a still from his film Dunki in which he was seen standing with Shah Rukh Khan. Recalling fond memories from the shoot, he said, “Iss film mein mere itne sapne poore hue hai na. (So many of my dreams have been fulfilled in this film). Maine Shah Rukh sir ke saath ek drunk scene kar liya, agle din humne ek hi nimbu chaat liya aur phir unke baaho mein main marr bhi gaya. Itna naseeb toh Shah Rukh sir ki heroine ko nahi milta. (I did a drunk scene with Shah Rukh sir; the next day we licked the same lemon, and then I died in his arms. Even Shah Rukh sir’s heroines are not this lucky).”

The Bad Newz further added, “Main sir ko mazaak mazaak mein bolta tha, itne intimate aap kisi ke saath hue ho jitne aap mere saath hue ho? Voh bhi kehte, nahi yaar (laughs). (I even told sir jokingly, ‘Sir, have you been as intimate with anyone as you have been with me in cinema?’ Then he also said, ‘No, no, no’).” Showering King Khan with love, Vicky added, “But he is a legend, he is a king, he is all our favorite. There’s nobody like him. For me, this whole experience was just getting to work with my hero Shah Rukh Khan.”
